Traveling via Bed&Breakfast places in Taiwan can sometimes confront foreign visitors with residents that are in a terrible state and could really use renovation, particularly on the various islands. Tatala, however has spacious, clean rooms, functioning facilities (AC, shower, toilet etc..), and includes breakfast at the small diner across the building.
I recommend renting rooms in the top floor, since there's a large balcony with table, where you can eat, look out on the ocean and just enjoy the evening. There's even a small tumbler that makes drying your snorkel or scuba-diving suits easier.
Only criticism: Cold water seems to be hard to get by here, so be careful when taking a shower, as adjusting the water temperature to something other than boiling is difficult.
