Came here the night before leaving Tokyo with a couple of friends. It was recommended by one of the friend in the group. I would not find this place on my own. They have multiple restaurants near Shimbashi Station. We were there on Thursday night around 6pm. We first went to one of their spot that is in a back alley. That specific spot is already fully booked, and we won't get a table till 8pm. Then we try their different spot in the area, but all are fully booked. We went to one that is also fully booked, but the waiter their was kind and help us call one of their other location to find out to see if there a table for us. We finally was able to get a table. Thank you to the waiter that help us out and direct us to their other spot.

When we arrive to the restaurant, we were directed to the second floor. We have to take off our shoe for this restaurant. The staff there speaks Japanese and limited English. Lucky one of our friend do speak Japanese. They have a English menu as well, but the food option on the English menu is less than what is on the Japanese menu. I think everyone must order a drink. We order multiples dish to try. We had the sashimi, squid ink fried rice, salmon rice, garlic fried rice, and a fish head. The price is very reasonable. The sashimi is one of the best sashimi I ever had. The other dishes is really good too as well. Good place to have dinner in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

Came here for our first meal in Japan after an 11 hour flight. We were looking for something that was open late and we decided to walk here from the Park Place Tokyo. It was about a 10 minute walk which gave us the chance to discover the busy little alleyways of Tokyo. There were hundreds of restaurants/bars in this area which was fascinating to see for our first night. It was a little hard to find this place, but thank goodness for Google maps! When we arrived it was around 10pm and the restaurant was packed with locals. We had to wait about 5 minutes to sit at the bar. No one spoke English so we asked for an English menu which they had.

Ordered:
x Sashimi Platter - The fish was SUPER fresh. I was impressed by the quality and we nearly killed this entire plate (I think it was meant for 4 people, oops). I wish it came with a side of sushi rice, but I felt rude for asking.
x Squid Ink Rice - YUMMMY! No where on the menu said it was made with pork/bacon, but it was easy to eat around it. I LOVEEE squid ink anything so I really enjoyed this dish.

We had a good time here and really enjoyed walking down the neighboring streets after our meal. If only we were starving... I would've ordered so much more to try :) Fun, authentic izakaya joint.

Great food, staff only speaks Japanese, only one waiter spoke Chinese(Mandarin). No English! I would have been sh*t out of luck if it wasn't for my sister-inlaw and the pictures on Yelp! Steak Katzu was like butter!!
