This place is famous, make a stop if you are patient! There are a few very similar stalls but this one is the most popular and good!

Just another random ordinary looking stall right past the temple, it's popular if you want to sit down be ready for being herded back and wait and wait.

Ordered the stinky tofu and lamb soup, worth the wait!!!

Herbal Lamb Soup, takes some getting used to but even I drank it up.

Arrived on a raining Thursday evening. The tables were filled, and we were instructed to go to the back thinking there were more tables there. Nope. There was a line of hungry folks waiting...

Okay, that's how popular this place was... We'll see. Waited about 10 minutes and got our table. Our order was taken quickly and efficiently. Our food came within 3 minutes.

Dang gui (Chinese Angelica) lamb soup (5/5 stars) - a Chinese herbal soup with lamb in it. I'm a sucker for Chinese herbal stuff so I love the taste. The lamb is pretty good too, but really the soup is everything.

Stinky tofu (4/5 stars) - Interesting how stinky tofu is sold with this soup. Didn't think they'd pair well, but they certainly did not conflict. The tofu was pretty good, but sorry to say, I've had better ones. Not very stinky as they should have been. I can see the appeal of this place and I'd certainly come back as it was good enough

Every time I come to Luo tong this is first place I visit to get the lamb soup right before I rest for the evening. It's simply delicious! Their other menu items are tasty as well. This is the famous spot for the lamb soup in this night market.
