It had been three years since we had eaten here. We had been going to this restaurant for several years, but during the last two years before we stopped eating here the food steadily got worse. We decided to give this restaurant another try. The employee who took our order had a mask over his mouth, but his nose was completely exposed. Apparently he, and management, do not know the difference between a mask and a chin strap. The door to the kitchen was dirty. The food was a big disappointment. The stuffed shrimp entree was two shrimps with breading that was awful. The crab cakes had little flavor and looked like they were not cooked completely in the center. The fried shrimp was bland. We watched the booth near us, and they had to return food four times because this restaurant could not get the orders right. The Hurricane drink tasted like it had almost no alcohol. Goodbye forever Boudreaux's. I do not know how management can take a restaurant that serves good food for many years and turn it into crap.
