Stone House Cafe & Bar

Came in for lunch at 9am, as the menu didn't indicate which hours lunch was served. The menu shows the lunch menu at the top and the breakfast menu at the bottom. The breakfast portion of the menu does show that breakfast is served until 9:30am. One cannot just assume that lunch starts at 9:30am. Anywho, didn't order food because we didn't want breakfast. Ordered a beer only.

Decent cafe at SeaTac Airport. Short menu - Chicken tacos were okay if rather thoroughly Americanized, tortilla chips accompanying were utterly stale. My wife enjoyed her sandwich, and my daughter ate up her flatbread marinara. Decent selection of microbrews. Plenty of space to kill time as much as you want. Service is quite alright. 1.5 stars is too low, but I can't go higher than 3 in good conscience.

I had a couple hours to kill as I waited for my connecting Alaska Airlines flight to New York City from Los Angeles, so I explored around to see what was still open and found Stonehouse Café And Bar. Stonehouse is a full-service restaurant and bar with an extensive menu offering sandwiches, salads, pizza, small bites, comfort food and much more in a prime airport location. Many of the surrounding eateries were closing up, so by default I ended-up here which was fine because I was able to grab another beer! The place was packed but again probably because they were the only place that was still open. Would I be a happy guest to this house!?

Veggie Flatbread Pizza ($16.99): An odd-shaped 10" pizza built with tomato slices, black olives, chopped red onions, and mixed cheeses all on top of a crunchy thin crust, this was a major disappointment not only in appearance but in taste. This was obviously literally thrown together quickly with no thought of placement, and how this lacked nuch flavor was head-scratching to me! SERVICE
Opening seat as signs instructed you to "seat yourself" and then scan the table's QR Code for the menu to place your order, I had to wait about ten minutes to hail down a waitress to unlock the table's QR Code, at which time I simply placed my order with her. My beer arrived quickly along with a glass of water while the pizza showed up about another ten minutes later. I was then left alone until it was time to settle the tab with the same waitress and off I went to my gate. A bit annoying about the QR Code but I wasn't going to let that bother me.

PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance)
I was traveling through and had no need to park. However, the airport offered onsite parking structures with rates that varied from $6.00-$7.00/hourly, $34.00-$42.00/daily, and $169.00-$294.00/weekly. Because this was located within the Central Terminal of departing flights, you had to already be an outgoing or incoming passenger to even get here, so parking would be a moot point.

ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE
Located in the Central Terminal near Gates C, this was a large corner restaurant highlighted by its long bar with ample barstools, and plenty of tables/chairs and booth seating on both sides in addition to a front patio dining area. There was no natural lighting while an assortment of mid-hung and tracking electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops.

OVERALL
Stonehouse Café And Bar's SEATAC Central Terminal location was fine for a beer or two, but I was apprehensive about ordering food again the next time I traveled through. They had a decent craft beer list, cool ambience, and good location (bathrooms nearby, too), but the food, prices and service had little to be desired. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $34.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.0 STARS

BIG ADVICE: Go to Starbucks, get the drink you want, and a breakfast sandwich, egg bite, oatmeal or wrap there...DO NOT EAT HERE. It is a waste of money.

By the time we sat down and ordered, I pulled out my phone...and was hit with the horrible reviews. We had just decided to stand up and leave, and then the food came out...OMG, Yelp Rookie Foul on me!

This was all after an overnight 6 hour flight, so my judgement was skewed.

Only 3 true breakfast options (hoagie bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich dry, breakfast burrito, or biscuits and gravy)...the other couple of items were not even an option: clam chowder or fruit & granola...

Breakfast sandwich is $15 and tastes like a $1 value meal sandwich at a drive through. GO TO STARBUCKS...save yourself the agony.

Great service. Ok place for breakfast if you need a quick fix. The biscuits and gravy were not so good. Starchy biscuits with runny gravy. She liked her breakfast burrito tho. The fruit they give you is ok tho. Not worth the $36.00 for what I mentioned above and a coffee.

Try your own food. Would you eat it? Salty and sad pastrami sandwich with one ounce of meat and a teaspoon of cheese. Daughter didn't like the soggy chicken tacos. Wasn't expecting much but stick to cheese sandwiches or something if you can't do this. Winner for worst meal in a while. $85 later.

Been here twice, terrible both times. The food is Garbage and not enough staff to have good service. All the reviews are BS
This place sucks!

This spot at the Sea-Tac airport is tough to review. My wife and I stopped in there a week ago thinking it was likely to have a burger. No dice. The food choices are really on the light -- but expensive -- side. We settled on the chicken tacos which come up at a whopping $17.

We got 2 regular tacos and a bunch of tortilla chips. The tacos themselves were good. The chicken was the best part. The chips were regular run of the mill chips and were used as filler to make the plate look full when really it is just too small tacos. My wife also got a beer in a bottle, a Coors lite, I believe. Our bill was around $30. With a tip, it was $35 and there wasn't enough food or drink to be full, even if it was just one person eating it.

The place is large. Lots of seating. It looks inviting and there are multiple TVs showing sports. Just don't expect a lot for your money. The food was good, but expensive. Beer was overpriced as well. Better options out there, but nothing grossly out of the norm for airport pricing.

I came here with my husband and 9 year old on a weekday afternoon. There was no wait.

Pros:
-room for at least three suitcases at a table
-server was so nice
-food was good, especially dessert

Cons:
-only two servers were working so the wait was long to be served, but not bad
-alcohol is very watered down

I know that after waiting in line for 20 min to check your bag then another 45 min in security might have you yearning to sit down and have a bite to eat.
But do yourself the biggest favor and keep walking. I would have rather missed my flight and driven home to Los Angeles than ever eat at this dumpster fire again.

Server - kinda treats you like the in-laws that have always hated you.

Food - breakfast sandwhich/burrito miserable. Scraps in other restaurants trash cans might be more enjoyable. See picture attached for the extravagant fruit bowl.

Also no to go cups for drinks.
