This place is awesome!! Where you are an ex-pat, a westerner visiting for business, or a local, Factory is the place for you for good American style food. I'm from Texas and thus a chips & queso snob, so I mean it when I say their chips & queso are very good. The Cuban sandwich is also really good and the wings are amazing.

With the food being amazing and a good enough reason to give Factory a try, the best part of the place is it's staff. Chris, Jasmin, and their staff are awesome people!! Give this place a try...you won't be disappointed!!

Went for Sunday brunch with my parents this past weekend at noon and the visit did not disappoint.

PRO TIP: If you're planning on visiting for weekend brunch, make sure to make a reservation as it does get crowded and busy pretty quickly.

- Salmon Egg Benedict with potato wedges and side salad
- Blueberry Pancake with a side of hash brown and sunny side up
- Cobb Salad

Portion size: Very generous. My parents and I shared the 3 dishes and we were very full afterwards.
Flavor: Great!
- The pancakes were flavorful and the sweetness wasn't overpowering.
- The greens were very fresh and their salad dressing is very unique and not overpowering.
- The Eggs Benedict (and all of the eggs in the dishes) was cooked to perfection.
- All of the sauces complimented the dish well.

DECOR: 5/5
The decor and dine-in space is very hip, trendy, well lit, and well spaced.

I was in Tainan to visit my grandparents and really missed American food. I did a quick search and found this wonderful place on Yelp. Factory reminds me of restaurants back home. It's definitely unique from everything Taiwan has to offer. When we walked in, we were greeted and seated. The interior of the restaurant looks AMAZING with artwork on the wall. You can tell a lot of hard work went into creating this space.

Snack Menu

For snack, we got the Chicharron which were basically fried pork ears. I've had pork ears my whole life and I've never once had it fried. It was crunchy and very different from what I'm used to. It is a small portion but it also is under "snack" so I didn't expect much.

I also got the Drunken Clam under the snack menu. When it came... it was basically a whole meal. I was able to share it with my party of four. The clams were way different from what we're used to. These clams were imported from Europe or something. They were HUGE. The dish was how drunken clams should taste like except with huge juicy clams.

We also got the Fried Zucchini under the snack menu. These fried zucchini came topped with cheese and sauce on the side. I have nothing to say but DE-LI-CIOUS.

Meal Menu

My boyfriend got the Beef Stroganoff. I was surprised that this was on the menu since not many Asians know of this Russian dish. The meat was very juicy and the noodles were the thick flat noodle. It was very different from other beef stroganoffs that I've had but equally as tasty.

My mom and aunt got the Cuban Sandwich which came with a side of thin garlic fries. They said that they really enjoyed the cuban sandwich because it was different than anything they've had in Taiwan.

The chef made us a special Uni Toast and let me tell you... I usually try to stay away from uni because of a bad experience but this Uni Toast was so amazing, that I fell back in love with uni again. The chef prepared the uni so well that it melted in my mouth and it made me want more.

Sweet Menu

We finished our meal with Beignets and Coffee. This dessert came with ice cream and coffee but since it was too late to drink coffee, we just ate the ice cream. The beignets came warm and was powdered and crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. I loved it so much... it was great way to end my meal.

All in all, it was a great experience with great food. Definitely come here for a different experience in Taiwan :)
