Fancy service, delicious food, and fantastic 51st floor view of Tokyo!

Everything in our multiple course meal (served in one of the reserved private dining rooms) was both impressively presented and flavorful. This was a first time for everyone in our party, and both locals and visitors were impressed. Highly recommended for a top-notch and top-yen dining experience.

What's expensive? Being a member. Apparently the initiation fees are in the 5-digits (measured in dollars of course) What's less expensive? Being a member a club with reciprocal rights.

This club has an excellent location on the 51st floor. That's just one floor underneath the observatory! From here, you can get excellent seats facing the Tokyo Tower and since it's a social club, you can sit here from day to night and watch the Tokyo skyline change. Also, free wifi (just ask the staff), excellent service, good food and comfortable furniture makes this an easy choice over the observatory upstairs assuming you can get in.

Most of the people who come here are older Japanese businessmen possibly here to conduct business (or socialize?) with other important people. Being the foreigners dressed at the bare minimum (as opposed to suits), we were seated off in one corner away from everyone else. Oh well.

The Omurice (with miso soup - approximately 1500 yen) was great. It was much more expensive than outside, but the egg was extremely soft and the sauce was smooth and thick. I was quite impressed with it.

A members only club with meeting rooms you can rent by the hour and a number of fantastic restaurants featuring different cuisines. I had the opportunity to try the teppanyaki restaurant as well as the tradition Japanese restaurant, both were fantastic. It's on the upper floor of a high-rise downtown so the views with your meal or during your meeting will be amazing.

nice view, food is of course of high quality but nothing to write home about, top notch service

i have only been to the japanese washoku restaurants but i think it must be the same across the board.
