Loved this futbol shop. Our main purpose for stopping in was to look for some local team jerseys, and that's exactly what we got. The staff was helpful pointing out which size in each Jersey to try, and such.

They also carry a variety of trinkets (pens, mugs, etc), scarves, shorts.

To be expected but know that you'll be paying premium Jersey prices.

      Some Highlights:
      * Both international, national team, and local futbol jerseys
      * They had a wide selection of local futbol jerseys, but not every Jersey in every size

      Yelp 100 Challenge 2015 - 89/100

The Kamo chain of specialty shops for soccer (football) enthusiasts is one of the best I've seen in Japan. They have nearly two dozen locations throughout Japan, including some that offer top quality presentation of products, accessories, store atmosphere and overall soccer lifestyle. Remodeling of their major stores (in the Tokyo area, at least) has raised that bar to the level of single-purpose maker designer brand shops that dot the landscape in Harajuku.

Even if you have a casual interest in soccer, you will appreciate the cool, trendy presentation on each floor of this multistory building. It's quite amazing in terms of organization, multimedia visuals and a focus on name-brand, top-shelf products that discriminating tastes seek out. This is no back alley discount shop - premium goods for premium prices, but backed by maker and store guarantee that even with full price items, you're getting the real mccoy.

      Highlights:
+ Experience/Atmosphere: 5/5 stars (every floor is a feast for the senses; life-size figures of your favorite stars in their top form kits, and of course, everything you see can be purchased...for a price; multimedia visuals, video, audio, everything to get you into the mood quickly; recent Premier League or Champions League (Europe) matches are always featured on the big screens)
+ Service: 4/5 (you know everyone working here LOVES soccer - get a conversation going and you might forget why you came in to buy; on that note, soccer love first does not always equal skillful passing and shooting when it comes to retail customer service - generally good, YMMV)
+ Value: 4/5 (what do you expect? Top quality goods fetch top level prices - but if you want the real thing, you want the real thing. Look carefully though - they often have hidden gems in the form of last season's goods at great discounts - depends on the time of the year and soccer season you're at when you visit, however)
      + Other: 4.5/5
      - Accessories: Wow, some amazing stuff, much of it direct imports from the UK for Premier League team goods; all major European teams well represented!
      - Japan goods: You'll often find team logo items that are limited edition to Japan only - Japanese fans love their pens, stationery, key rings, t-shirts, underwear (!), stickers, more!

The founder/owner of this chain was a top Japanese footballer long ago, and it's cool to see his passion showcased in a top notch retail experience for current and aspiring fans. You'll also find authentic historical memorabilia showcased throughout the store - things that Japanese fans especially love like signed boots (shoes), photos, posters; champion medals; major tournament goods - it's really a soccer museum where you can buy many of the display items.

When you're satisfied here, walk up the street, turn left and head towards Omotesando. Along the way you'll find Puma and the Nike flagship store. Take a peek at Nike (separate Review) and notice that although it's a single brand, what you just experienced at Kamo is similar, if not better in terms of presenting the soccer lifestyle to all fans, regardless of brand affiliation.
