Literally the slowest drive through in town. Actually slowest drive through I've ever been on and been to this location 3 times. Even if there are 3 cars in line you're going to wait forever.

Hey there, this is Hospitality Syracuse, the franchise owner of this Taco Bell, and that's not okay, Johnny. You should never have to wait that long. We'll share this with our team. Thanks for letting us know & we hope to see you again soon.
I would have left 1 star but the previous times I've been here was pretty good so two stars it is.
Rule #1, if you're going to be open on Holidays the experience should be as good as always or even better. This was not the case.
Just left there after doing the premium all you can eat deal. The service was fine but the food was not. Way too many inedible pieces of meat being served. Ordered 8 different things, problems with 6 of them. The Yakis in particular literally spit out 8 mouthfuls of inedible tendon or nerves. Even something as simple cucumber salad was cut into uneven large chunks. They must have rushed through meal prep.
Definitely not the first meal I wanted to kick off the New Year but I guess it was worth it in the respect that I know not to come here for the rest of 2024.
I've tried most of their pies and they're all very good. I have this place tied with VP on Larchmont, with VP edging them out with the best NY Style pie. But this spot has the best variety of mouthwatering pies. The lasagna one, the white, the one with different pepperoni, all fuego.
The cannolis are a little heavy on the lemon though.
Great food. Good service. Big beers.
Grabbed the sampler, added sausage. Ordered the French loaf as well. Well worth it!
I ordered the Ropa Vieja and the Vaca Frida. Both entrees came with mushy rice. Not off to a good start. The actual Ropa Vieja was just OK. A little better than Portos.
The Vaca Frida was definitely not legit. It wasn't even fried! It was just soggy shredded beef. I had to fry it myself and make my own rice to salvage the meal.
Empanadas were good and so were the ham croquettes (even though they didn't include saltines) IYKYK.
If it matters, my fam is from Cuba. Grew up in Miami eating my Abuelo's and Abuela's dank-ass cuban food. Needless to say whenever I go to Miami to visit that's all I eat 24/7 at not only my Moms but at all the legit cuban spots they have there. Saw the great reviews on this place and was super excited.
