Hospice of Watauga County

I am extremely hurt and disappointed by this organization for forcing us into the role of caregiver & counselor at a time where we should have been simply been wife, daughter, brother and friend. When we brought my Dad home from the hospital we all know it would be a matter of days, he passed on the 6th and we did not hear or see Hospice for the last 4 days of that time at home. We went without needed/promised supplies. I wrote to them later to explain the pain and anguish we felt and they never replied. I know they are busy and this is not a easy job but to be ignored in a time of great emotional and physical struggle only adds to the pain. Had we never called, prepared ourselves with the needed supplies, then we would have been better of that we where when we relied on Hospice This was shocking because I have always hard such wonderful things.
